June 23 and 24: free public transport and additional runs
„Rīgas satiksme” informs that on June 23 and 24 Riga public transport and parking lots operated by „Rīgas satiksme” will be available for free.
Public transport (trams, trolleybuses, buses)
In the night of June 23/24, additional public transport runs will be organised so as to cover a majority of Riga districts and carry passengers to and from the places where festive events will be held. Additional runs will be organised on:
- tram routes No. 1, 5, 7, 10 and 1;
- trolleybus routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 27;
- bus routes No. 3, 11, 12/23/26 (combined, runs across Akmens Bridge), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 50, 51 and 53.
Information about additional public transport routes will be available at public transport stops in Riga centre.
In the night of June 23/24, from 0:00 and until the end of event “Ligo, Riga! Ligo, Latvia”, public transport running on all the routes crossing Akmens Bridge in the direction of Pārdaugava, will stop at stop „Grēcinieku Street”.
Tickets
On June 23 and 24, Riga public transport (trams, trolleybuses, buses) will be available free of charge.
Customer service centres
On June 22, all customer service centres will be open until 19:00, except that located at Brīvības Street 49/53, which will be open from 8:00 until 17:00.
On June and 23, all customer service centres will be closed.
Parking lots
On June 23 and 24, Riga municipal paid parking lots operated by „Rīgas satiksme” will be available free of charge, except the underground parking lot at Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street 5a next to the House of Congresses, where parking services will be charged for according to the existing tariffs.
Minibuses, express minibuses and night transport
On June 23 and 24, blue-and-white minibuses will be available for free, and express minibuses will run according to Sunday schedules. The night transport will run in the night of June 22/23 and June 23/34.
